Eran Hadas
Eran Hadas is an Israeli poet, software developer, new media artist and the author of seven books. Hadas also creates hypermedia poetry and develops software based poetry generators. Among his collaborative projects is a headset that generates poems from EEG brain waves, and a documentarian robot that interviews people about what it means to be human. His literary career started under the female pseudonym of Tzeela Katz who made an impact on Israeli poetry, and was killed off by Hadas when she was invited by Israel's national theatre to curate a poetry event series. Her second book, "Era?" got Hadas into the Ten Most Prominent Israeli Poets 2001-2010 Anthology in Haaretz. His fifth book, "The Space Bar", was selected in 2013 as poetry book of the year in Time Out Tel Aviv as well as in Yekum magazine. Wired UK
''Wired UK'' is a bimonthly magazine that reports on the effects of science and technology. It covers a broad range of topics including design, architecture, culture, the economy, politics and philosophy. Owned by Condé Nast Publications, it is published in London and is an offshoot of the original American ''Wired''. History Earlier version (mid–1990s) The magazine's current incarnation follows an earlier attempt at a British edition of ''Wired'' which ran from April 1995 until March 1997. It was initially created as a joint venture with the Guardian Media Group and ''Wired US''s then owners, Wired Ventures, but that incarnation lasted only three or four issues, due to a culture clash between the two parties and low sales figures of 25,000 per month. It was founded in 1918, making it the longest running newspaper currently in print in Israel, and is now published in both Hebrew and English in the Berliner format. The English edition is published and sold together with the ''International New York Times''. Both Hebrew and English editions can be read on the internet. In North America, it is published as a weekly newspaper, combining articles from the Friday edition with a roundup from the rest of the week. It is considered Israel's newspaper of record. ''Israel Hayom'' ( he, יִשְׂרָאֵל הַיּוֹם, lit=Israel Today) is an Israeli national Hebrew-language free daily newspaper. First published in 2007, ''Israel Hayom'' is Israel's most widely distributed newspaper. Owned by the family of Sheldon Adelson, who was personal friend and benefactor of Benjamin Netanyahu, ''Israel Hayom'' has often been criticized for portraying Netanyahu in an overly positive light.
