The equestrian competitions at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur were held at Putrajaya Equestrian Park and Terengganu International Endurance Park. The 2017 Games feature competitions in six events (all events for mixed). Quzandria Nur
Quzandria Nur Dato' Mahamad Fathil (born 25 April 1982) is a Malaysian equestrian rider. Nur competed at three Asian Games, in Bangkok 1998, Doha 2006 and Guangzhou 2010. In 1998 she was member of the silver winning Malaysian team, in 2006 she won also team silver and in 2010 she won individual silver and team bronze. Nur also competed at three South East Asian Games. In 2001 she won team gold and individual silver, in 2007 again a golden team medal and individual silver, and in 2017 she won individual gold and team gold with the Malaysian team. Mohd Qabil Ambak Tan Sri Mahamad Fathil (born 15 January 1980, Kuala Lumpur) is a Malaysian equestrian rider. He competed at five Asian Games and SEA Games in jumping and dressage and earned in total 22 medals. Ambak was qualified for the 2020 Olympic Games after New Zealand withdrew from their spot, but he did not obtained his MER qualification scores before the official deadline, which caused him to lose his Olympic starting place. Caroline Rosanna Pei Jia Chew (born 18 April 1992) is a Singaporean equestrian athlete and solicitor. She competed at the 2018 World Equestrian Games and the 2014 Asian Games in dressage, and at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in show jumping. She won several medals during the Southeast Asian Games (from 2013 through 2017), and competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
