"Episode Two" is the second episode of the Space channel's science fiction series ''Dark Matter''. The episode was written by series creator and executive producer Joseph Mallozzi, and directed by TJ Scott. The episode first aired in Canada on June 19, 2015. Plot In the opening scene, stunned by the revelations about their real identities, the crew discuss their next move. Three tells the group that he's concerned about how Ferrous Corp may react should they not complete the job they were hired for. One tells him that he's no murderer, to which Three responds that the screen says otherwise. Four says that they have left these memories behind and that if they are no longer part of them then they don't matter. The Android asks Two if she would like to continue the data recovery, calling her "Portia". She tells her to call her "Two" instead. ''Dark Matter'' is a science fiction series started in 2015 that was developed by Prodigy Pictures in association with the Space channel and the Syfy channel. The concept was created by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie while they were working on the '' Stargate'' franchise, and was originally published as a comic book series in 2012. An order for 13 episodes was placed for the first season of the series, which premiered on June 12, 2015, on both Space and Syfy. On September 5, 2015, the series was renewed for a second season. ''Dark Matter'' was renewed for a third season in September 2016, which premiered on June 9, 2017. On September 1, 2017, Syfy canceled the series. Joseph Mallozzi
Joseph Mallozzi (born 16 October 1965) is a Canadian writer and producer. He is most noted for his contributions to the ''Stargate SG-1'', '' Stargate: Atlantis'' and ''Stargate Universe'' television series and as showrunner of ''Dark Matter''. He joined the ''Stargate'' production team at the start of ''Stargate SG-1s fourth season in 2000. He was a writer and executive producer for all three ''Stargate'' series. Kerr Hewitt, also credited professionally as Kjartan Hewitt, is a Canadian actor and writer. "Episode One" is the first episode of the Space science fiction series ''Dark Matter''.
