Enver Sekiraqa 18 November 1974 i Pristina Kosovo is a native of Kosovo and a suspect sought by the Kosovo Police and Interpol in connection with an investigation into organized crime, the murder of Triumf Riza (a police officer) and several other murders and sex crimes. He was arrested in Pristina in September 2012 when he handed himself over to EULEX and the Kosovo Police after four years on the run. The Kosovo Police ( sq, Policia e Kosovës, sr-Cyrl, Полиција Косова, sr-Latn, Policija Kosova) is the national policing law enforcement agency of Kosovo. History A Kosovo Police Service was created in 1999 in the aftermath of the Kosovo War and subsequent withdrawal of the Yugoslav forces from Kosovo. Triumf Riza
Triumf Riza (7 May 1978 – 30 August 2007) was a police officer, and member of an elite protection unit with the fledgling Kosovo Police Service, who was killed in the line of duty during an ongoing clash with the Enver Sekiraqa gang, an Ethnic Albanian crime syndicate that operates in Kosovo. Riza is notable in that he was the young police force's first recognized hero. Special Force career Triumf Riza was one of the earlier officers hired onto the new Kosovo police force. Bill Clinton Boulevard
Bill Clinton Boulevard is a boulevard located in Pristina, Kosovo. Following the Kosovo War of 1998 to 1999, Albanians in Kosovo wanted to thank former U.S. President Bill Clinton for his help in their struggle with the government of Yugoslavia. A statue of Clinton was unveiled on the boulevard on 1 November 2009, at a ceremony in which the former president spoke. Elsewhere in Pristina, another street has also been named after U.S. President George W. Bush. In addition, several cities in Kosovo, including Prizren, have streets named after President Woodrow Wilson.
