Enid Mirembe
Enid Mirembe, is a Ugandan beauty pageant contestant, who was crowned "Miss Tourism Busoga Region" on 26 July 2015. In 2016, As an entreprenuer she founded the Rolex initiative organisation and Rolex Festival a flagship culinary event on Uganda’s Tourism Calender. She was named as one of "The 40 Movers and Shakers of 2016", by Satisfashion Uganda, a Ugandan fashion magazine. She also Contested for Woman Member of Parliament Bugiri District in 2020. Patricia Akello, also Tricia Akello, is a Ugandan professional model, currently signed with the Muse Model Management company in New York City. She walked the 2017 New York Fashion Week, in September, working for the Bottega Veneta brand and was featured in the cover of Women’s Wear Daily magazine. Dora Mwima, also Dorah Mwima is a Ugandan model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Uganda 2008 at the age of 18. She represented Uganda in Miss World 2008 in South Africa. Rolex (food)
Ugandan Rolex, commonly referred to as Rolex, is a popular food item in Uganda prepared by combining an egg omelette and vegetables wrapped in a chapati. This single-portion dish is quick to prepare, and can be eaten at any time of the day, from breakfast to a lunch or supper meal or snack. The name "rolex" comes from its method of preparation, with the chapati and the omelette rolled together ("rolled eggs"). This idea originated from a chapati seller's creativity in the Busoga region "the basoga" then the idea spread to Wandegeya next to Makerere University in Uganda, fueled by students who needed a quick meal because of time and budget limitations. Busoga sub-region is found in Eastern Uganda occupying an area of over 10,000 square kilometers and according to the 2014 national census about 40 percent of the people in the eastern region live in this sub-region.
