Emmtan-Magan
''Em Magan'' () is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language family drama film written and directed by Thirumurugan. Bharath, Gopika, and Nassar played the lead roles, while Vadivelu, Saranya Ponvannan, and Gajala appeared in supporting roles. The music was composed by Vidyasagar with cinematography by Sevilo Raja and editing by Jeyakumar. Upon release on 7 September 2006, the film met with positive critical reception. It was remade in Kannada as ''Puthra''. Plot Thirumalai (Nassar) owns a provision store in Karaikudi and lives with his family consisting of his wife Selvi (Saranya Ponvannan), wife's younger brother 'Karupatti' Ayyakannu (Vadivelu), son Krishnan ( Bharath), and daughter. Saranya Ponvannan
Saranya Ponvannan (born Sheela Christina) is an Indian actress who predominantly appears in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam language films. Saranya made her debut in a lead role in Mani Ratnam's ''Nayakan'' (1987) and went on to play lead roles from 1987 to 1996. Following an eight-year sabbatical, she returned to films in 2003 as a character actor roles. Thirumurugan is an Indian Tamil language, Tamil film and television director. He holds a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous camera shot. Career Thirumurugan, a Kollywood director, began his career on television in Doordarshan with the teleserial ''Gokulam Colony''. He then directed and acted in ''Metti Oli''. His entry into the Kollywood film industry was with ''Em Magan'' (2006), which was also much talked about. Yugabharathi
Yugabharathi is a Tamil poet and lyricist. His birth name was "Santhanam Desan" and he was known as "Santhanam" by his family and friends.
