Emmerson Boyce
Emmerson Orlando Boyce (born 24 September 1979) is a professional footballer who currently plays for Ashton Town A.F.C.. He usually plays as a right back, but could also be deployed in the centre of defence or at right wingback. Born in Aylesbury, England, Boyce started his career at the age of 16 as an apprentice at Luton Town F.C.. He eventually established himself in the first team, and went on to make 185 league appearances for the club, scoring eight goals. He joined Crystal Palace F.C. on a free transfer in 2004, where he played in the Premier League for the first time, but the club was relegated to the Championship. He spent two years at the club, making 69 league appearances and scoring one goal. After Crystal Palace failed to gain promotion, Boyce returned to Premier League football in 2006, this time with Wigan Athletic F.C. after completing a move for a fee of £1 million, and was a key player during his first season when the club narrowly avoided relegation. The England national under-21 football team, also known as England under-21s or England U21(s), is considered to be the feeder team for the England national football team. This team is for England players aged under 21 at the start of the calendar year in which a two-year European Under-21 Football Championship campaign begins, so some players can remain with the squad until the age of 23. Ricky Hill (born 5 March 1959) is an English former footballer, spending most of his playing career at Luton Town FC for 14 years, while representing England at Senior, U21 and U18 International levels. Hill was the fourth Black player to play for England’s Senior National team and the first British South Asian to represent England at the Senior level. Stuart Thomas Fraser (born 9 January 1980) is a Scottish footballer. Fraser started his career at Luton Town, making his debut at the end of the 1997–98 season. He scored his first and only goal for the club in September 1999 in a 4–2 win against Oxford United. Fraser was a regular in the starting lineup at the start of the 2000–01 season, and earned himself a callup to the Scotland under-21 national team. In January 2001, Fraser suffered a broken leg in an FA Cup match against Queen's Park Rangers. He failed to regain his place in the first team and was released in March 2002. He made a total of 44 league appearances for the club. Following a short trial with Dundee United, he signed for Stevenage Borough. FA Youth Cup
The Football Association Youth Challenge Cup is an English football competition run by The Football Association for under-18 sides. Only those players between the age of 15 and 18 on 31 August of the current season are eligible to take part. It is dominated by the youth sides of professional teams, mostly from the Premier League, but attracts over 400 entrants from throughout the country. At the end of the Second World War the FA organised a Youth Championship for County Associations considering it the best way to stimulate the game among those youngsters not yet old enough to play senior football. The matches did not attract large crowds but outstanding players were selected for Youth Internationals and thousands were given the chance to play in a national contest for the first time.
