Emmanuel Top (born 25 October 1971) is a French acid techno music producer. He was popular in the 1990s for his releases on his own record label, Attack Records, he began his career at the end of the 1980s in full wave New beat on the Belgian label DIKI Records, his first track was The drop deal released in 1988 under the pseudonym Bazz. His most famous track is titled "Turkish Bazar", released in 1994, which contains warped, looping vocal lyrics, originally performed by Jim Morrison in the song "Black Polished Chrome" by The Doors: "The music was new black polished chrome and came over the summer like liquid night." The track contains a sweeping acid bass line using the Roland TB-303 synthesizer and punchy TR-909 kicks. "Seven Days and One Week" is a song by Italian-French electronic music act B.B.E. It was released in July 1996 as the lead single from their debut album, ''Games'' (1996). As a representative of the short-lived dream house sound, the song became a top 10 hit worldwide, most notably reaching number-one in Spain, number two in Belgium, Finland, Ireland and Italy, and number three in Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. The Roland TR-909 Rhythm Composer is a drum machine introduced by Roland Corporation in 1983, succeeding the TR-808. It was the first Roland drum machine to use samples for some sounds, and the first with MIDI functionality, allowing it to synchronize with other devices. Though it was a commercial failure, the 909 became influential in the development of electronic dance music genres such as techno, house and acid. Design The 909 was designed by Tadao Kikumoto, who also designed the Roland TB-303 synthesizer. Chief Roland engineer Makoto Muroi credited the design of the analog and pulse-code modulation voice circuits to "Mr Ou" and its software to "Mr Hoshiai". The Roland TB-303 Bass Line (also known as the 303) is a bass synthesizer released by Roland Corporation in 1981. Designed to simulate bass guitars, it was a commercial failure and was discontinued in 1984. However, cheap second-hand units were adopted by electronic musicians, and its "squelching" or "chirping" sound became a foundation of electronic dance music genres such as acid house, Chicago house and techno. The Doors
The Doors were an American Rock music, rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965, with vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger, and drummer John Densmore.
