Emily Kay
Emily Kay (born 7 September 1995) is a track and former road cyclist. After several years representing Great Britain and England at international competitions, Kay transferred allegiance in late 2019, and began representing Ireland on the UCI World Cup Track cycling circuit. She currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team . Junior career Kay partook in the 2009 School games and won the individual pursuit and finished second in the Keirin. At the 2010 national youth and junior track championships, Kay placed second in the junior points race, just three points behind Laura Trott. In addition, Kay placed second in the under 16's points race and won the under 16's individual pursuit and scratch race titles. Kay won three consecutive future stars series titles at revolution cycling series. British National Track Championships
The British National Track Championships are held annually and organised by British Cycling (formerly the British Cycling Federation). The main events are various track cycling disciplines for elite athletes to determine the British national champions. However, competitions are also held in age and disability categories. Until 1994 both amateur and professionals could take part in the 'Open' events, in addition to specific events that were restricted to either. In November 1994, British Cycling moved its headquarters to the National Cycling Centre, Manchester, which held been opened earlier in the year by Princess Anne. 2013 UEC European Track Championships
The 2013 UEC European Track Championships was the fourth edition of the elite UEC European Track Championships in track cycling and took place at the Omnisport Arena in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, between 18 and 20 October. The Event was organised by the European Cycling Union. All ten Olympic events, ( sprint, team sprint, keirin, team pursuit and omnium, for both men and women) and the non-Olympic men's madison championship and points races for both genders were held as part of the championships. A highly competitive championships, gold medals were share among five teams, and medals among ten teams, with Germany leading the medal table with three gold and three silver medals. Emily Nelson (born 10 November 1996) is a former English professional racing cyclist. Her sister, Josie, is also a cyclist and joined Trinity Racing for the 2021 season. Career On 8 August 2013, at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow, Nelson competed at the UCI Juniors Track World Championships. She was part of Britain's Team Pursuit squad which also included Hayley Jones, Amy Hill and Emily Kay. In the qualifying heat, they broke the ''senior'' world record which had only been set a few weeks previously at the European Track Championships, setting a new time of 4:38.708. In the final, they broke the record once more, with a time of 4:35.085, beating Russia to become world champions. On the road in 2017, Nelson won the third round of the Matrix Fitness Grand Prix Series in Northwich. She was a member of the record breaking, gold medal winning, British team pursuit squad at the Juniors world championships in 2013. Hayley Louise Jones (born 26 September 1995) is a Welsh racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI Women's Team . From Port Talbot, Jones was a member of the record breaking, gold medal winning, British team pursuit squad at the Juniors world championships in 2013. Early career Hayley Jones is the daughter of Phil and Louise Jones, the sprint gold medalist for Wales at the 1990 Commonwealth Games. Jones was part of British Cycling's Olympic Development Programme for 2012/2013. She was a member of the bronze medal-winning British team pursuit squad at the Junior world championships in 2012. That year, she was living with her family in Brisbane, Australia, Jones teamed up with Taylah Jennings and Alexandra O'Dea, to win gold in the junior team pursuit at the Australian National Track Championships. The 2013 UCI Juniors Track World Championships was the 10th annual Junior World Championship for track cycling held at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow, Scotland from 7 to 11 August 2013.
