Emilios Theofanidis
Emilios Theofanidis ( el, Αιμίλιος Θεοφανίδης; 30 November 1939 – 7 February 1999) was a Greek professional footballer who played as midfielder and a later manager. Club career Theofanidis started football from Aris Ptolemaidas where he distinguished himself competing in the second division, while in 1963 he emerged as the top scorer in his respective group. In the summer of 1963, he took the big step of his career by transferring to the then Greek champion, AEK Athens. With the yellow-blacks, he played for 2 years, making his debut in the first division and remarkably, participated in both matches against Monaco for the qualifying phase of the European Cup, even scoring and 1 goal in the second leg in Athens on 2 October 1963 which ended 1–1. During his spell in the club he won a Greek Cup in 1964. Ptolemaida
Ptolemaida ( el, Πτολεμαΐδα, Ptolemaïda, Katharevousa: Πτολεμαΐς, ''Ptolemaïs'') is a town and a former municipality in Kozani regional unit, Western Macedonia, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Eordaia, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. It is known for its coal (lignite) mines and its power stations. 1963–64 Greek Football Cup
The 1963–64 Greek Football Cup was the 22nd edition of the Greek Football Cup. The Final was scratched and AEK Athens were awarded the cup after Panathinaikos and Olympiacos were ejected from the competition following the abandonment of their semi-final in the 115th minute with the score 1–1 due to riots by supporters from both teams, who believed the match had been fixed to end in a draw in order to have a replay for financial reasons (this was the same reason that the Final of 1961–62 was abandoned and the Cup withheld). The Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, sometimes referred to as the European Fairs Cup, Fairs Cities' Cup, or simply as the Fairs Cup, was a European Association football, football competition played between 1955 and 1971. Wiener Sport-Club
The Wiener Sport-Club, sometimes abbreviated as WSC, was established in 1883 in Vienna, Austria and is one of the country's oldest athletics clubs. Their traditional home is in the Dornbach quarter of the city ( 17th district). History At various times throughout its history the club has had departments for fencing, boxing, wrestling, cycling, handball, track and field, field hockey, tennis, squash, football and water polo.
