Emilie Stoesen Christensen
Emilie Stoesen Christensen (born 1986 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz singer and actor, the daughter of Jazz drummer Jon Christensen (1943–2020) and actress Ellen Horn (b. Stoesen in 1951), and half sister of Theater director Kjersti Horn (b. 1977). She has lately been gaining recognition for her work with a number of Norwegian bands, including the «Oslo JazzNonett», and made her record debut with Jon Balke's Batagraf album ''Say And Play'' (2011) at ECM Records. Career Christensen has played roles in musical plays as ''Spellemann på taket (Fiddler on the Roof)'' and ''Spring awakening'' at Oslo Nye Teater. As a student at the Norges Musikkhøgskole (NMH) in Oslo, she was on a Norway tour (2012) with «Oslo JazzNonett», and among other places, they had chosen «Musikkbaren» at NMH as a concert arena (at home). Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Harald Lassen (born 13 March 1987 in Kristiansand, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician, composer and band leader. Besides leading his own band LASSEN, he has also been a part of bands such as Pixel, Mopti (feat. Bendik Baksaas on the album ''Bits & Pieces''), No. 4, Dr. Kay And His Interstellar Tone Scientists and DUPLEX. He was picked up at an early age by legendary musicians such as bass player Arild Andersen and drummer Jon Christensen. Mats Eilertsen (born 4 March 1975) is a Norwegian jazz musician and composer. He is known for recording with numerous bands, including the Maria Kannegaard Trio, Ola Kvernberg, Nils Økland, Eldbjørg Raknes, Anders Aarum Trio, Eirik Hegdal, Sverre Gjørvad, Nymark Collective, SKRUK, «Jazzmob», «Dingobats», Håkon Kornstad Trio, Food with Iain Ballamy, Jacob Young Band, Solveig Slettahjell's Slow Motion Orchestra, Håvard Wiik Trio, and «JazzCode». Career Eilertsen was born in Trondheim and attended the Trondheim Musikkonservatorium, where he participated in the Jazz program and was part of the Jazz band Dingobats along with fellow students Eirik Hegdal (saxophones), Njål Ølnes (tenor saxophone), Thomas Dahl (guitar) and Sverre Gjørvad (drums), primarily playing Hegdals compositions. Eyolf Dale
Eyolf Dale (born 5 March 1985) is a Norwegian jazz pianist and composer. Career Dale started playing piano at the age of 6 years, and shortly after started taking lessons. After finishing his Examen artium on the Music program at Skien videregående skole (2001–04), he worked as a freelance pianist, conductor and arranger in the Grenland area until in 2005 he started his graduate studies in Performing jazz and improvisation at Norwegian Academy of Music (2005–09). There he studied under such as Misha Alperin, Bjørn Kruse and Jon Balke, and completed the master's program (2009–11).
