Emil Vorster
Emil "Teddy" Vorster (12 April 1910 – 10 May 1976) is a German racing driver and entrepreneur, so-called ''gentleman-racing driver'' and motorsport-functionary. The silk-manufacturer (owner/general manager of C. C. bang Silk weaving) of Rheydt Emil Vorster is known size of German autosports scene before and after the World War II. With a British brand MG Cars and vehicles of the German manufacturer AFM, he participated successfully in many races. From the end of 1947, in early 1948 he was the driving force behind the project Grenzlandring (border-region ring), until this forever has been blocked after the fatal crash with 13 or 14 dead and 42 wounded on 31 August 1952, as a track. Hans Stuck
Hans Stuck (pronounced ''"shtook"''; sometimes called Hans Stuck von Villiez; 27 December 1900 – 9 February 1978) was a German motor racing driver. Both his son Hans-Joachim Stuck (born 1951) and his grandsons Johannes and Ferdinand Stuck became race drivers. Despite many successes in Grand Prix motor racing for Auto Union in the early 1930s, during the era of the famous "Silver Arrows", he is now mostly known for his domination of hillclimbing, which earned him the nickname "Bergkönig" or "King of the Mountains". Pre-WWII career Stuck's experience with car racing started in 1922 with early morning runs bringing milk from his farm to Munich, shortly after his first marriage. Ulli Lommel (21 December 1944 – 2 December 2017) was a German actor and director, noted for his many collaborations with Rainer Werner Fassbinder and his association with the New German Cinema movement. Lommel spent time at The Factory and was a creative associate of Andy Warhol, with whom he made several films and works of art. He moved to the United States in 1977, where he wrote, directed and starred in over 50 films. Early life Born in Zielenzig in 1944, a few weeks before the arrival of the Red Army, Lommel's family fled the city, wrapping the infant Ulli in a roll of carpet.
