Emil Pettersson
Emil Pettersson (born 14 January 1994) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player for Timrå IK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Pettersson was selected by the Nashville Predators in the 6th round (155th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Emil's brother Elias was drafted fifth overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Pettersson made his Elitserien (now the SHL) debut playing with Timrå IK during the 2012–13 Elitserien season. In the 2016–17 season, having signed with Skellefteå AIK, Pettersson played in 24 games before he was transferred mid-season to join his fourth SHL club in the Växjö Lakers, on 7 December 2016. Pettersson quickly adapted with the Lakers, completing the season with 26 points in 27 games. On 9 May 2017, Pettersson agreed to a two-year, entry-level contract with the Nashville Predators. 2020–21 SHL Season
The 2020–21 SHL season was the 46th season of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). The regular season began in September 2020 and ended on 3 April 2021, it was then followed by the playoffs and the relegation playoffs. The league consisted of the 14 teams that competed in the 2019–20 season; because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden, no relegation or promotion took place after the previous season. The Växjö Lakers won the regular season for the third time in club history. In the SHL qualifier, Brynäs IF defeated HV71 in five games to stay in the SHL. The Växjö Lakers won the Le Mat Trophy for the third time, defeating Rögle BK by 4 games to 1 in the playoffs final. Le Mat Trophy
The Le Mat Trophy ( sv, Le Mat-pokalen, "Le Mat Cup") is the trophy awarded to Swedish champions in ice hockey, which since 1976 has been the winners of the SHL playoffs. The Le Mat is the oldest trophy competed for by professional athletes in Sweden. The trophy was donated by the founding father of ice hockey in Sweden, Raoul Le Mat, and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. in 1926. Laurent Dauphin (born March 27, 1995) is a Canadians, Canadian professional ice hockey Forward (ice hockey), forward currently playing for the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 39th overall by the Coyotes in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Arizona Coyotes
The Arizona Coyotes are a professional ice hockey team based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Coyotes compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Central Division in the Western Conference and currently play at the Mullett Arena in Tempe. 2018–19 AHL Season
The 2018–19 AHL season was the 83rd season of the American Hockey League. The regular season began October 5, 2018 and ended April 15, 2019. The 2019 Calder Cup playoffs followed the conclusion of the regular season. League changes The league expanded by adding the Colorado Eagles to the Pacific Division and moved the two Texas-based teams to the Central Division from the Pacific. The Cleveland Monsters were moved from the Central to the North Division. Similar to the California and Arizona teams in the Pacific Division, Colorado plays 68 games in the regular season. This gave the Pacific Division a balanced schedule for the first time since its creation in 2015 and removed the necessity for playoff qualification based on points percentage. Anders Lindbäck (born 3 May 1988) is a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing with Brynäs IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He has previously played for the Nashville Predators, Tampa Bay Lightning, Dallas Stars, Buffalo Sabres and Arizona Coyotes in the National Hockey League (NHL).
