The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Pyongyang is the diplomatic mission of China into North Korea. The embassy is located in Kinmaul-dong, the Moranbong District of Pyongyang . The embassy currently provides a number of consular services, namely passport and visa related. The Embassy of China Pyongyang is one of two Chinese representatives in North Korea, the second being the Chinese Consulate in Chongjing. Moranbong District
Moranbong-guyŏk (), or the Moranbong District, is one of the 18 guyŏk which constitute the capital city of Pyongyang, North Korea. It is located north of Chung-guyok, the city's central district, and is bordered to the north by Sosong-guyok, Sosong and Taesong-guyoks, to the east by the Taedong River, and the west by the Pothonggang Canal and Potonggang-guyok. It is named after Moran Hill located in the district's west area ("Moran" is ). It was designated a guyŏk in October 1960 by the Pyongyang City People's Committee. Pyongyang (, , ) is the capital and largest city of North Korea, where it is known as the "Capital of the Revolution". Wang Yajun (diplomat)
Wang Yajun (; born December 1969) is a Chinese diplomat who is the current Chinese Ambassador to North Korea, in office since December 2021. Biography Wang was born in Anhui in December 1969. He graduated from China Foreign Affairs University. He joined the Chinese Communist Party in July 1991. He joined the Foreign Service in June 1995 and has served primarily in Europe. In July 2015, he became director of the Department of Policy Planning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but having held the position for only one year, then he took office as assistant minister of the International Liaison Department of the Chinese Communist Party. The Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Beijing is the diplomatic mission of North Korea to China. It is located in Chaoyang, Beijing. In addition to its embassy in Beijing, North Korea also has consulates in Dandong, Shenyang and Hong Kong. It is one of the largest embassies of North Korea and has dormitories, North Korean grocery shops, a currency exchange, an eyeglasses store, and a fruit and vegetable shop.
