Biography She started with the mountain running in 1999, at the age of 31, is considered among the greatest skyrunners of all-time, still active and winning at the threshold of 40 years, the ''Aquila di Aurano'' (''Aurano's Eagle''), as she is nicknamed, boasts its rich palmarès two World Cups (Skyrunner World Series) and 10 national titles at individual level. 	Monte Rosa SkyMarathon The Monte Rosa SkyMarathon is an international skyrunning competition held in Alagna Valsesia on Monte Rosa (Italy) which marked the origins of skyrunning. History The first edition of the race was in 1992 to and from Alagna, reaching Colle del Lys at 4,250m where the race was turned around due to strong winds. In 1993 and 1994, and from 2018, the race course was from Alagna, 1,192m to the summit of Monte Rosa, 4,554m and back, making it Europe's highest race. (In 1996 the highest point reached was the Gnifetti Hut, 3,647m). Between 2002 and 2011 the race (also known as Trofeo Stefano Degasparis) took place on a different course to and from Alagna to the Passo dei Salati at 2,980m. 	SkyRace Andorra The SkyRace Comapedrosa is an international skyrunning competition held for the first time in 2014. It runs every year in Arinsal, La Massana (Andorra) in July and is a SkyRace part of the Skyrunner World Series. Although the first edition, with its current name, of this race is of the 2014 (and from 2016 inserted in the Skyrunner World Series, World Cup circuit), since 2005 the SkyRace, which took place on Mount Coma Pedrosa, took place on a regular frequency every year, and almost always the race was valid for the Skyrunner World Series.
