Emad Khatami
Emadeddin "Emad" Khatami ( fa, عمادالدین خاتمی) is an Iranian reformist politician. He is the son of former Iranian president Mohammad Khatami and his wife Zohreh Sadeghi. As of 2009, he was out of public spotlight. In the same year, he reportedly founded the student branch of the Baran Foundation. The Iranian peoples or Iranic peoples are a diverse grouping of Indo-European peoples who are identified by their usage of the Iranian languages and other cultural similarities. Mohammad Khatami
Sayyid Mohammad Khatami ( fa, سید محمد خاتمی, ; born 14 October 1943) is an Iranian politician who served as the fifth president of Iran from 3 August 1997 to 3 August 2005. He also served as Iran's Minister of Culture from 1982 to 1992. Later, he was critical of the government of subsequent President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Little known internationally before becoming president, Khatami attracted attention during 1997 Iranian presidential election, his first election to the presidency when he received almost 70% of the vote. Zohreh Sadeghi
Zohreh Sadeghi ( fa, زهره صادقی; born 1950) is the wife of former Iranian President Mohammad Khatami and a niece of the Lebanese leader of the Amal Movement Musa al-Sadr. Career In 1999, together with wives of other government officials, Sadeghi founded the Behafarin Farda charity entity and serves as its president. Her most important political presence was in 2008 and during the Gaza War. Ten days before Azam Farahi wrote a letter to the First Lady of Egypt Suzanne Mubarak, Sadeghi got in contact with Moza bint Nasser to call on governments and nations to support the Palestinian people. Mohsen Mirdamadi ( fa, محسن میردامادی, born 1955 in Najafabad, Isfahan) is an Iranian academic and politician. He is the Deputy Secretary General of "Ettehad-e Mellat", the largest pro-reform political party in Iran. After the 2009 Iranian Presidential Elections, he was sentenced to and put to 6 years of prison, among other leaders of reformist party. Previously, he was elected as a member of the Parliament of Iran (the 6th Majlis) from 2000 until 2004, during which time he chaired the parliament's Commission of National Security and Foreign Policy.
