Mozhga (russian: Можга́; udm, Можга, ''Možga'') is a town in the Udmurt Republic, Russia, located at the confluence of the Syuga and Syugailka Rivers, southwest of Izhevsk, the capital of the republic. The women's 20 kilometres walk event at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place on 6 August 2021 in Sapporo. Approximately 60 athletes has qualified; the exact number depended on how many nations use universality places to enter athletes in addition to the number qualifying through time (one universality place was used in 2016). The actual number of participants was 58 walkers, and the winner was Antonella Palmisano of Italy. Background This was the 6th appearance of the event, having appeared at every Olympics since 2000.
