Sula Islands Regency
The Sula Islands Regency ( id, Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula) is one of the list of regencies and cities of Indonesia, regencies in North Maluku province of Indonesia. It covers a land area of 3,338.67 km2 and consists of two of the three large islands comprising the Sula Archipelago, together with minor adjacent islands. These two islands are Sulabesi (formerly Sanama) and Mangole Island, Mangoli (formerly Mangole). In the 1970s, Persija, which was still affiliated with the West Java PSSI Regional Commission, initiated the establishment of a separate Regional Commission in Jakarta.
