Ellingsøya
Ellingsøya is a island in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. With an area of , Ellingsøya is the second largest island in the municipality after Uksenøya. The island is located northeast of the town of Ålesund, north of the islands of Nørve and Uksenøya, east of the island of Valderøya, and south of the mainland peninsula of Haram Municipality. The villages of Hoffland, Årset, and Myklebust are all located on the south side of the island. Ellingsøy Church is the main church for the island. Ellingsøya has an association football team, '' Ellingsøy IL'', which currently plays in the 5th division in Norway. Transportation Ellingsøya used to be accessible from the town of Ålesund only by boat or by road via Skodje Municipality, but the undersea Ellingsøy Tunnel was built in 1987 connecting Ellingsøya to Ålesund (to the south) and the Valderøy Tunnel was also built connecting Ellingsøya to the nearby island of Valderøya in Giske Mun ...

Ålesund (, sometimes spelled Aalesund in English) is a municipality in Møre og Romsdal County, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Sunnmøre and the centre of the Ålesund Region. The town of Ålesund is the administrative centre of Ålesund Municipality, as well as the principal shipping town of the Sunnmøre district. The town is a sea port and is noted for its concentration of Art Nouveau architecture. Nørve
Nørve (or ''Nørvøya'') is an island in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is the largest of the islands containing the city center of Ålesund, the others being Aspøya and Hessa, located to the west. The island of Nørve is located south of Ellingsøya, north of Sula, and west of Uksenøya. There were 9,647 residents living on the island in 2015. Ålesund University College, the municipal hall, Volsdalen Church, and the stadium of the local association football team Aalesunds FK are located on Nørvøya. Valderøya
Valderøya is an island off the west coast of Norway. It is part of Giske Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county. The island had 4,153 residents in 2017. The island is connected to the city of Ålesund to the south via the Valderøy Tunnel to the island of Ellingsøya and then by the Ellingsøy Tunnel to the city of Ålesund. Valderøya is also connected to the island Vigra to the north by a short bridge. It is also connected to the island of Giske to the west by the Giske Bridge. Ellingsøy Church () is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located on the island of Ellingsøya, just west of the village of Myklebost. It is the church for the Ellingsøy parish which is part of the Nordre Sunnmøre prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Møre. The brick church was built in a fan-shaped design in 1990 using plans drawn up by the architect Lauritz Nes. The church seats about 380 people.
