Ellen Boakye
Ellen Boakye is a Ghanaian people, Ghanaian Cardiology, cardiologist for children. She is known for winning 18 awards for distinguishing herself in her course of study. Education Boakye was born in Kokofu in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. She had her primary and secondary level education at Petra International School in Breman Read and the Yaa Asantewaa Secondary School in Kumasi respectively. She then studied further at the University of Ghana Medical School. During her Bachelor of Science degree graduation, she won 8 out the 9 awards presented. In 2017, she won 10 awards at the Vice-Chancellor's Academic Award Ceremony held at the Great Hall of the University of Ghana. She is known to have won the highest number of awards that year, having swept 10 awards out of the 156 awards given out. The Ghanaian people are a nation originating in the Ghanaian Gold Coast. Kokofu
Kokofu is a town in the Bekwai Municipal district, a district in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. History There are many variations on the origin of Kokofu. The following information is taken from Ghana Place Names. 1. "When Kobia Anguanfi came to the throne, he said that Assumya .. was not a convenient place for him to dwell with his families so he sent his hunter to seek for a place so that they may dwell there. Ashanti Region
The Ashanti Region is located in southern part of Ghana and it is the third largest of 16 administrative regions, occupying a total land surface of or 10.2 percent of the total land area of Ghana. Yaa Asantewaa Girls' Senior High School (YAGSHS) is a public high school for girls in Tanoso in the Atwima Mponua District in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The University of Ghana Medical School also UGMS is the medical school of Ghana's first public research institution, the University of Ghana. It is currently located at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra. The medical school was first planned in 1919, but took its first students in 1962.
