Elle Dawe
Elle Dawe (born 16 February 1981) is an Australian film and television actress, comedian and model. Acting Elle Dawe studied acting while attending Newtown High School of the Performing Arts in her younger years. Her first major role on Australian television was in the 2008 SBS series '' Swift and Shift Couriers'', portraying Elle Whick. Following this, she portrayed the popular character Shazza Jones, in ''Housos'' ( SBS/7mate), '' Fat Pizza: Back In Business'' (7mate), ''Bogan Hunters'' (7mate) and in the feature films '' Housos vs. Authority'' (2012) and '' Fat Pizza vs. Housos'' (2014). She has hosted '' The Circle'' on Ten and has been featured on Seven's ''Sunrise'' and '' The Morning Show''. Dawe has also appeared in television commercials for Franklins and Tourism New Zealand. Sydney Comedy Festival
The Sydney Comedy Festival is an annual comedy festival held in Sydney. Launched in 2005 as The Cracker Sydney Comedy Festival at a number of inner city venues, the Festival has grown quickly and now attracts 111,000 patrons every year at venues all across Sydney. The Sydney Comedy Awards were introduced in 2008, to celebrate excellence in the Sydney Comedy Festival. In 2013, the festival introduced The Sydney Comedy Festival showcase tour, bringing bits of the festival to towns all over Australia. 2020 saw the festival go on hiatus. Adelaide Fringe Festival
The Adelaide Fringe, formerly Adelaide Fringe Festival, is the world's second-largest annual arts festival (after the Edinburgh Festival Fringe), held in the South Australian capital of Adelaide. Between mid-February and mid-March each year, it features more than 7,000 artists from around Australia and the world. Franklins was an Australian discount supermarket chain selling packaged groceries and perishables throughout New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia. It sold the "No Frills" home brand generic products. In 2011 the chain was bought by Metcash and the stores were sold off, shut down or converted into new supermarket banners or other brands. ''The Circle'' was an Australian morning talk show that was aired on Network Ten from 9 February 2010 to 3 August 2012. The show was presented by Gorgi Coghlan, Yumi Stynes, Chrissie Swan and Denise Drysdale and aired in a daytime slot on Network Ten. Ten cancelled the program on 30 July 2012, with the last episode on 3 August 2012. Presenters Colin Lane replaced Coghlan in early 2011 while she was on maternity leave.
