Ella Wyrwas
Ella Wyrwas (born 7 March 1999) is an English rugby union player who currently plays as a scrum-half for Saracens Women in the Premier 15s, the top-flight competition of women's rugby union in England. Club career Wyrwas began her senior rugby career when she made her debut for Saracens at the age of 18. She initially played as a centre, but was subsequently deemed too small to continue in that position, resulting in her transition to scrum-half. Her debut season culminated in winning the 2017–18 Premier 15s title, as she was among the replacements in the club's 24–20 final victory over Harlequins. In September 2018, Wyrwas moved to Premier 15s rivals Loughborough Lightning. The move was due to the club's proximity to the University of Nottingham, where she had earned a sports scholarship to pursue undergraduate studies. The 2021–22 Premier 15s is the 5th season of the Premier 15s (23rd including editions of the previous Women's Premiership), of the top flight of English domestic women's rugby union competition and the second to be sponsored by Allianz. Incorporated in the season also was the inaugural Allianz Cup, a women's equivalent of the Premiership Rugby Cup. Zoe Harrison (born 14 April 1998) is an English rugby player who plays for the England women's national rugby union team and Saracens Women at club level. She made her international debut for England in 2017 and was offered a full-time contract for the national side in 2019. 2021 Rugby World Cup
The 2021 Rugby World Cup was the ninth staging of the women's Rugby World Cup, as organised by World Rugby. It was held from 8 October to 12 November 2022 in Auckland and Whangārei, New Zealand. It was originally scheduled to be held in 2021, but was postponed by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first women's Rugby World Cup to be hosted by New Zealand, and by a country in the Southern Hemisphere. New Zealand were also the defending champions. The tournament introduced changes such as replacement of classification play-offs in the knockout stage with quarter-finals, and a longer scheduling window with at least five days between matches.
