Elizabeth Beach is a beach and locality located within the township of Pacific Palms, New South Wales. The beaches itself measures 1km long and is surrounded by the Booti Booti National Park. The Surf Life Saving Club, established in 1986, is located in the centre of the beach. Small boats can be launched from the Southern end of Elizabeth Beach, adjacent to the creek that drains out into the surf. Boomerang Beach is a locality and beach in the township of Pacific Palms, New South Wales, 282km (175mi) by road north of Sydney. Booti Booti National Park
Booti Booti National Park is a national park in New South Wales, Australia, , by road, north-north-east of Sydney. The holiday town of Forster-Tuncurry lies immediately to the north. History The first European to inhabit the area was a Captain J. Gogerly who sailed from Forster to Sydney with loads of timber. He and some of his family are buried in the park. Mining for mineral sands took place at Seven Mile Beach from 1969 to 1975, and at Elizabeth Beach from 1969 to 1970. The park was declared a state recreation area from 30 September 1977, then a national park in 1992. The Riptides were an Australian power pop group which was formed in Brisbane, Queensland in 1977 as The Grudge.
