Eliz-Mari Marx
Eliz-Mari Marx (born 20 January 2003) is a South African cricketer who currently plays for Northerns. She plays as a right-arm medium bowler and right-handed batter. She made her international debut in December 2023, in a Twenty20 International for South Africa against Bangladesh. Early life Marx was born on 20 January 2003 in Pretoria. Domestic career Marx made her debut for Northerns in October 2016, against Easterns, in which she took 1/22 from her four overs. She was named Northerns Player of the Year at the end of the 2019–20 season, with 23 wickets and 223 runs. She scored her maiden List A century in October 2023, with 155 from 66 deliveries for Northerns against South Western Districts. South Western Districts Women's Cricket Team
The South Western Districts women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for part of the South African province of Western Cape. They compete in the Women's Provincial Programme and the CSA Women's Provincial T20 Competition. History South Western Districts Women joined the South African domestic system ahead of the 2005–06 season, playing in the Women's Provincial League, in which they finished 6th in their group of 7 with one win from their twelve matches. They have competed in the tournament ever since, but have never reached the knockout stages. The Zimbabwe women's national cricket team represents Zimbabwe in international women's cricket. The team is organised by Zimbabwe Cricket, a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). The Women's T20 Super League is a women's domestic Twenty20 cricket tournament organised by Cricket South Africa. The tournament began in September 2019, with four teams taking part; these teams were renamed for a second competition in December 2019. The Easterns women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the South African region of East Rand. They compete in the Women's Provincial Programme and the CSA Women's Provincial T20 Competition. History Easterns Women first appeared in the 1997–98 season of the Caltrate Inter-Provincial Tournament, although the full results for the tournament are unrecorded. They have competed in every season of the tournament since, with their best finish coming in the 2017–18, when they qualified for the knockout rounds and finished 7th overall.
