Elina Nechayeva
Elina Nechayeva ( et, Elina Netšajeva; born 10 November 1991) is an Estonian soprano. She represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal, with the song " La forza". Career In 2009, she made her public debut in the third season of ''Eesti otsib superstaari'', where she participated, but was eliminated in the preliminary girls' round. She graduated from Tallinn French School in 2011. She participated in the ETV competition ''Klassikatähed 2014'' and was one of the three finalists. In 2016, she graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre with a master's degree in classical singing. Nechayeva was one of the hosts for the semi-finals of '' Eesti Laul 2017'', along with Marko Reikop. On 3 March 2018, Nechayeva won ''Eesti Laul 2018'' with the Italian-language song " La forza", and she represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 and came in 8th in the Grand Final. Opera
Opera is a form of theatre in which music is a fundamental component and dramatic roles are taken by singers. Marko Reikop
Marko Reikop (born 19 June 1969 in Tallinn) is an Estonian TV host. He graduated from the Tallinn University on bibliography and is employed by radio and TV channels of the Estonian Public Broadcasting since 1991. He has presented the Estonian national finals for Eurovision Song Contest and made a live commentary for the event. From 2009 and on he presents the daily talk show '' Ringvaade'' together with Anu Välba (along with Grete Lõbu since autumn of 2013). Laura Põldvere
Laura Põldvere (formerly Remmel; born 30 August 1988) sometimes known professionally as simply Laura, is an Estonian singer. She is said to be the most played Estonian artist on Estonian radio in the past decade. She is internationally known for representing Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 as part of the girl group Suntribe and did so again in in a duet with Koit Toome, singing "Verona." Career Laura started her career in 2005, when she participated in Eurolaul 2005 with the song "Moonwalk". "Moonwalk" came second, but Laura won the contest as the member of the girl group Suntribe. Suntribe represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, but failed to advance to the final. Laura also took part at "Eurolaul 2007" for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, her entry "Sunflowers" came third. Koit Toome
Koit Toome (born 3 January 1979), is an Estonian singer and musical actor. He has twice represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest. In Eurovision Song Contest 1998, 1998 he finished 12th with the song "Mere lapsed". In Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, 2017 he sang a duet with Laura Põldvere, entitled "Verona (song), Verona". Career Koit Toome was discovered in the music school in 1994 by the music producer Mikk Targo who was initially planning to launch a solo career for Koit. It later turned out that Koit's schoolmate and initial backing vocalist Sirli Hiius harmonized perfectly with Koit. Due to this, Koit's solo turned into a pop duo, Code One, which enjoyed a successful run of top hits that over the years have become evergreens. Estonians or Estonian people ( et, eestlased) are a Finnic ethnic group native to Estonia who speak the Estonian language. Sven Lõhmus (born 13 July 1972) is an Estonian pop-composer and lyricist. He is a producer at Moonwalk Studios, a music company featuring Estonian artists. He has worked with leading artists of Estonia, including Vanilla Ninja (of which he was also manager), Suntribe, Urban Symphony, Grete Paia, Laura Põldvere, and Getter Jaani. Eesti Laul 2022
Estonia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy, with "Hope" performed by Stefan. The Estonian broadcaster (ERR) organised the national final ''2022'' in order to select the Estonian entry for the contest. The national final consisted of seven shows: four quarter-finals, two semi-finals and a final. Ten songs competed in each quarter-final and semi-final and five qualified from each show as determined by a jury panel and public vote. In the final, the winner was selected over two rounds of voting, the first involving both a jury and the public, and the second and ultimate entirely decided by the public. Estonia was drawn to compete in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 12 May 2022. Performing during the show in position 12, "Hope" was announced among the top 10 entries of the second semi-final and hence qualified to compete in the final.
