Professor Adelardus Lubango Kilangi was the 9th Attorney General of Tanzania. Early life and career Professor Kilangi was born April 6 1969. Prof. Kilangi was a member of the African Union Commission on International Law. He also served as the president of the commission from 2012 to 2014. Prior to the appointment he was also a director at St. Augustine University of Tanzania and served at various capacities at the university. Samia Suluhu
Samia Suluhu Hassan (born 27 January 1960) is a Tanzanian politician who has been serving since 19 March 2021 as the sixth (and first female) president of Tanzania. She is a member of the ruling social-democrat Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party and the third female head of government of an East African Community (EAC) country. Upon the death in office of President John Magufuli, she was sworn in as president. A native of Zanzibar, Suluhu served as a minister in the semi-autonomous region during the administration of President Amani Karume. She served as the Member of Parliament for the Makunduchi constituency from 2010 to 2015 and was the Minister of State in the Vice-President's Office for Union Affairs from 2010 to 2015. Kwimba District
Kwimba District is one of the seven districts of the Mwanza Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by the Magu District, to the east by Maswa District and Kishapu District, to the south by Shinyanga Rural District, and to the west by Misungwi District. The district seat is at Ngudu. Sumve is another important settlement in Kwimba District, hosting a hospital and large church. The majority of the residents of Kwimba are Wasukuma from the Sukuma tribe and speak Sukuma along with Swahili. Most of the residents are engaged in the subsistence farming of rice, sweet potatoes, cassava, millet or maize. As of 2012, the population of the Kwimba District was 406,509.
