Elias Kuosmanen
Matti Elias Kuosmanen (born 2 September 1995) is a Finnish Greco-Roman wrestler. He is a two-time bronze medalist at the European Wrestling Championships. He also competed at the World Wrestling Championships in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2023. Kuosmanen represented Finland at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He competed in the men's 130kg event. Career Kuosmanen represented Finland at the 2019 Military World Games held in Wuhan, China and he won the silver medal in the 97kg event. In 2020, Kuosmanen lost his bronze medal match in the 97kg event at the European Wrestling Championships held in Rome, Italy. In 2021, Kuosmanen won one of the bronze medals in the 97kg event at the Grand Prix Zagreb Open held in Zagreb, Croatia. Kuosmanen won one of the bronze medals in the 130kg event at the 2023 Dan Kolov & Nikola Petrov Tournament held in Sofia, Bulgaria. Järvenpää
Järvenpää (; sv, Träskända) is a town and municipality in Finland. It is located on the Helsinki–Riihimäki railway track in Uusimaa region, some north of Helsinki. Neighbouring municipalities are Tuusula, Sipoo and Mäntsälä. Men's Greco-Roman 130 kilograms competition at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, took place on 1–2 August 2021 at the Makuhari Messe in Mihama-ku. This freestyle wrestling competition consists of a single-elimination tournament, with a repechage used to determine the winner of two bronze medals. The two finalists face off for gold and silver medals.
