Eleonore Schwarz
Eleonore Schwarz (born 1936 in Vienna) is an Austrian singer. Life In the 1960s and 1970s, Schwarz was an opera singer at the Vienna Volksoper. In 1962, she represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest held in Luxembourg with operetta-like song named " Nur in der Wiener Luft" (Only in the Vienna air), the song received no points and ended up with three other participants in last place. Dimitrios Makulis (''Greek'': Τζίμης Μακούλης; 12 April 1935 in Athens – 28 October 2007 in Athens), known as Jimmy Makulis, was a Greek singer who had a successful career in German-speaking markets in the 1950s and 1960s, and is known for his participation on behalf of Austria in the 1961 Eurovision Song Contest. Carmela Corren ( Bizman, he, כרמלה קורן; – ) was an Israeli singer and actress. Career Corren was born ''Bizman'' in Tel Aviv, Mandatory Palestine, on 13 February 1938. She dreamed of being a dancer, but switched to singing in the wake of an injury. American television producer Ed Sullivan discovered her in 1956 during a work venture in Jerusalem. Corren, just out of military service, was persuaded to come to New York to appear on his show. She later toured South Africa with Cliff Richard and sang in English clubs. Later, she starred in several films and television productions. With the beginning of the 1960s, Corren became well-known in Germany, as well as in Switzerland and Austria. The Eurovision Song Contest 1962 was the 7th edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. Viennese waltz (german: Wiener Walzer) is a genre of ballroom dance. At least four different meanings are recognized. In the historically first sense, the name may refer to several versions of the waltz, including the earliest waltzes done in ballroom dancing, danced to the music of Viennese waltz.
