Elenoire Casalegno (; born 28 May 1976) is an Italian television presenter. Life and career Born in Savona, in 1994 Casalegno started her career at 17 years old as a runway model. In 1994, after winning the beauty contest Look of the Year, she debuted as television presenter of the Italia 1 musical show ''Jammin. During her career Casalegno hosted several programs, including the sport talk show ''Pressing'', alongside Raimondo Vianello, the variety show ''Scherzi a parte'' and the 1998 edition of Festivalbar. Raimondo Vianello (7 May 1922 – 15 April 2010) was an Italian film actor, comedian, and television host. He was a well-known Italian television personality. Biography He was born in Rome, but spent his youth in Pula, where his father, an Admiral of the Regia Marina, directed the local naval academy. During World War II he joined the Italian Social Republic, the fascist puppet state established in northern Italy after the Allied invasion of Italy. He was captured by American troops. In 1958 he met actress Sandra Mondaini, whom he married four years later, and with whom he frequently appeared in TV shows during his whole career. The Festivalbar was an Italian singing competition that took place in the most important Italian squares during summer, such as the Piazza del Duomo, Catania or Piazza Bra, Verona. The first edition took place in 1964 and was broadcast by RAI. The competition was held throughout the summer and the final round always took place at the Arena in Verona after 3-4 events in various cities of Italy. History Originally, the Festivalbar was a competition made with data from jukeboxes in Italian bars, so the competition was a one evening event transmitted by RAI. Poppaea Sabina (AD 30 – 65), also known as Ollia, was a Roman empress as the second wife of the Emperor Nero. She had also been wife to the future emperor Otho. The historians of antiquity describe her as a beautiful woman who used intrigues to become empress. There is a large villa near Pompeii that bears her name because of the archaeological finds there.
