Elena Velikanova
Yelena Sergeyevna Velikanova (russian: Еле́на Серге́евна Велика́нова; born October 5, 1984, Moscow, RSFSR, USSR) is a Russian theatre, film and voice actress. Career In 2001, Yelena entered the Mikhail Shchepkin Higher Theatre School at the State Academic Maly Theater of Russia in Moscow (artistic director of the course Vitaly Ivanov; teacher Vladimir Beilis), which she graduated in 2005. Since 2008 she has been involved in the dubbing of the animated franchise Disney Fairies, being the voice of the fairy Vidia (in the original Pamela Adlon's voice). In February 2008, she became the Girl of the Month for the Russian version of MAXIM Magazine. ''257 Reasons to Live'' (russian: 257 причин, чтобы жить) is a Russian R-rated comedy-drama television series. The show is produced by Yellow, Black and White, Super Production and START Studio. Maxim Sveshnikov serves as director and Anna Dragunkina is an executive producer for the show. The series stars Polina Maximova as Evgeniya Korotkova, a young woman who has defeated her cancer. Egor Koreshkov, Yulia Topolnitskaya, Maxim Lagashkin, Marusya Fomina and Roman Mayakin also star in the show. The series received a presentation pilot commitment at START in summer 2019. ''257 Reasons to Live'' was ordered to series in July 2019. The series is primarily filmed in Moscow. Gelena Martselievna Velikanova (russian: Гелена Марцелиевна Великановна, 27 February 1923 – 10 November 1998) was a Soviet traditional pop performer, who popular in the 1950s and 1960s and best remembered for her 1959 hit "Landyshi" (Lily of the Valley). She was honoured with the People's Artist of Russia title in 1992. Velikanova then lost her voice due to incompetent medical treatment and had to stop performing. She died in 1998, two hours before her farewell concert in Moscow.
