Eledath Thaikkattu Narayanan Mooss
Eledath Thaikkattu Narayanan Mooss (15 September 1933 – 5 August 2020) was an Ayurvedic physician and the Chief Physician and Managing Partner of Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2010 for his contribution to the field of medicine specific to Ayurveda. Life Sketch Narayanan Mooss was born into a family of traditional Ayurvedic physicians of ''ashtavaidyans'' (a title conferred upon the family by the Viceroy of India, Lord Reading, in 1924) to Devaki Antharjanam and E. T. Neelakandhan Mooss on 15 September 1933. He was named after his grandfather, in accordance with family tradition. He learned Ayurveda from his father, a well known Ayurvedic physician and Padmashri award recipient, and his uncle, Vayaskara N.S. Mooss. Ollur is a major suburban area and an old commercial town in the city of Thrissur of Kerala state, South India. It is about away from Swaraj Round on old National Highway 47 (India) towards Kochi. The Padma Bhushan is the third-highest civilian award in the Republic of India, preceded by the Bharat Ratna and the Padma Vibhushan and followed by the Padma Shri.
