''Electric Pentagram'' is the third studio album by Japanese power metal band Lovebites. The album was released in Japan on January 29, 2020 by Victor Entertainment, and in the United Kingdom two days later by JPU Records. Red River Entertainment released it in North America on April 24, 2020. It reached number 9 on the Oricon chart and number 12 on ''Billboard Japan''. Background Lovebites were very busy in the first half of 2019; the Japanese tour for their second album ''Clockwork Immortality'' (2018) started in January, they opened for Arch Enemy in China in March, and in June performed at Download Festival in both the UK and Spain and at Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium. Lovebites (band)
Lovebites (stylized as LOVEBITES) is a Japanese heavy metal music, heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by former Destrose members Miho and Haruna. Its lineup currently consists of Haruna on drums, Midori and Miyako on guitar, Asami on vocals, and Fami on bass. After signing to Victor Entertainment, the group released both their debut EP and their first album in 2017, ''The Lovebites EP'' and ''Awakening from Abyss'', before performing their first overseas concerts at the end of the year. The Lovebites EP
''The Lovebites EP'' is the debut EP by Japanese power metal band Lovebites. The EP was released in Japan on May 24, 2017, by Victor Entertainment, in Europe on August 25, 2017, by JPU Records, and in North America by Sliptrick Records on August 31, 2017. It reached number 27 on the Oricon chart and number 40 on ''Billboard Japan''. Background and release Lovebites was formed in Tokyo, Japan in 2016 by musicians who were all previously in well-known and established bands. From the very beginning, bassist and leader Miho knew she wanted to have English lyrics, and with vocalist Asami having studied abroad, three of the four songs on the EP are in English. Kiko Loureiro
Pedro Henrique "Kiko" Loureiro (born 16 June 1972) is a Brazilian guitarist. He has been a member of several heavy metal bands, including Angra and Megadeth. Career Loureiro began studying music and playing acoustic guitar at age 11. He studied with two famous Brazilian musicians: Pedro Bueno and Mozart Mello. Inspired by various artists, including Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, and Randy Rhoads, he moved to the electric guitar at 13 and by 16 had already joined two bands, Legalize (with Edu Mello on vocals, Dennis Belik on bass and Alja on drums) and A Chave, and was playing in nightclubs in São Paulo. Angra is a Brazilian power metal band formed in 1991. They have released nine regular studio albums, five EPs, and three live CD/DVDs to date. Led by Rafael Bittencourt, the band has gained a degree of popularity in Japan and Europe. Slayer was an American thrash metal band from Huntington Park, California. The band was formed in 1981 by guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman, drummer Dave Lombardo and bassist/vocalist Tom Araya. Finnvox Studios is a recording studio located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki, Finland. It was founded by Erkki Ertesuo, Kurt Juuranto and Lejos Inc. in 1965 and is the longest running studio recording facility in Finland. The original multi-track recording equipment and continuous technical updates of the studio machines and acoustics soon made Finnvox the most sought after studio in the country. Finnish artists which recorded at Finnvox in the 1970s include Rauli Somerjoki, M. A. Numminen and their bands, Wigwam, Agit-prop and many others. An amulet, also known as a good luck charm or phylactery, is an object believed to confer protection upon its possessor.
