El Señor De La Querencia
''El Señor de la Querencia'' (English: ''The Lord of the Farm'') is a nighttime soap opera broadcast by Televisión Nacional de Chile. ''El Señor de la Querencia'' is set in a rural estate in Colina, Chile in 1920. It differs from former Chilean series by the large amounts of domestic violence, sexual abuses, extortions, threats, torture and violence shown as part of the plot. Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. Andrés Velasco Brañes (; born August 30, 1960) is a Chilean economist and professor who served as Minister of Finance in the first government of President Michelle Bachelet from March 2006 to March 2010. He is currently the Dean of the School of Public Policy at the London School of Economics. Elena Adela Calderón García, known as Adela Calderón (born 21 February 1959 in Santiago) is a Chilean actress and comedienne who has appeared in television and stage. Calderón's family faced severe hardship during the rule of Augusto Pinochet. She recalls that her family were tortured and spent time in two concentration camps, including Villa Grimaldi during her winter vacation at the age of 14. Begoña Basauri
Begoña or more puristically but also more rarely spelled ''Begoina'', meaning 'the lower foot' (of Mount Artxanda), is a historical municipality of Biscay (Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Country, Spain) which was incorporated into Bilbao in 1925.
