Café Tacvba (Pronounced ''kaˈfe taˈkuβa'') is a band from Ciudad Satélite, Mexico. The group gained popularity in the early 1990s. They were founded in 1989, before they had the current lineup of Rubén Isaac Albarrán Ortega (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Emmanuel del Real Díaz (keyboards, piano, programming, rhythm guitar, melodica, vocals), José Alfredo "Joselo" Rangel Arroyo (lead guitar, vocals), and Enrique "Quique" Rangel Arroyo: (bass guitar, electric upright bass, vocals), their friend Roberto Silva played the keyboards for a short period of time. Latin alternative, or "alterlatino", is a brand of Latin rock music produced by combining genres like alternative rock, lofi, chillout, metal, electronica, hip hop, new wave, pop rock, punk rock, reggae, and ska with traditional Ibero-American sounds, in Latin Europeans and Latin Americans countries ( Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French and Catalan languages). Folk Rock

Gustavo Alfredo Santaolalla (born 19 August 1951) is an Argentine musician, composer, and record producer. He is known for composing his film scores with his collaborator and acclaimed director Alejandro González Iñárritu, which composed the first four psychological drama films Iñárritu directed. He also composed the original scores for the video games ''The Last of Us'' (2013) and ''The Last of Us Part II'' (2020), as well as the themes for television series such as ''Jane the Virgin'' (2014–2019) and ''Making a Murderer'' (2015–2018). Anthony F. Peluso (March 28, 1950 – June 5, 2010) was an American guitarist and record producer. He was lead guitarist for pop duo Carpenters from 1972 to 1983. Peluso played the fuzz guitar solo on the Carpenters' song "Goodbye to Love". Sino is the Latin Grammy winning sixth studio album by Mexican band Café Tacuba, released on October 9, 2007 in Mexico, Latin America and the United States. The band has once again worked with award-winning Argentine music producer Gustavo Santaolalla. Four singles spawned off the album- "Volver a Comenzar", "Esta Vez", "Vámonos", and "Quiero Ver". The full album leaked onto the internet on October 6, 2007. On September 10, 2008, Café Tacvba became the leading nominee at the Latin Grammy Awards of 2008 with a total of six nominations: Album of the Year and Alternative Music Album, for ''Sino''. ''Jei Beibi'' (phonetic pronunciation of "Hey Baby" in Spanish) is the eighth studio album by Mexican band, Café Tacuba, released on May 5, 2017. It is their first album in five years. Having fulfilled their recording contract with Universal Music México, they decided to record future projects independently. A single, "Un Par de Lugares" was recorded during the Jei Beibi sessions but was left off the final album. Three singles were eventually released from the album: "Futuro", "Que No", and "Disolviéndonos". The band embarked on the Niu Güéis (New Ways) Tour to promote the album. Top 100 México is a record chart which accounts for sixty percent of the albums sold in Mexico.
