A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. Juan Ferrara
Juan Ferrara (born Juan Félix Gutiérrez Puerta; November 8, 1943) is a Mexican actor. Family Juan is a son of Ofelia Guilmáin and brother of Lucía Guilmáin y Esther Guilmáin. He was once married to the Mexican actress, Helena Rojo. He has two sons, actors Juan Carlos Bonet and Mauricio Bonet, with his first wife, Alicia Bonet. Biography Ferrara demonstrated an interest in acting since he was a young child. But it wasn't until he was 22 that he booked his first job as an actor. Felipe de Jesús Ramos Rizo (born 10 March 1963 in Mexico City) is a Mexican FIFA football referee who officiated three matches at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Julio César Castillo Torres (born 10 May 1988) is an Ecuadorian amateur boxer. He won two medals at the Pan American Games: a bronze in 2007 and a silver in 2011. Career At the 2006 South American Games, Castillo lost to Hamilton Ventura in the semifinals and ended up with a bronze medal. At the 2007 Pan American Games, he won 15:5 against Carlos Negron, but lost to the eventual winner Eleider Alvarez 8:10 in the semifinal.
