Tareq Abu Kwaik (Arabic: طارق ابو كويك), known by his stage name El Far3i (Arabic: الفرعي), is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and drummer. He is Palestinian-Jordanian, currently a member of the Shamstep band 47Soul, and was formerly a member of the Arabic rock band El Morabba3. Since 2012, he has released six solo albums. Shamstep
Shamstep is a Middle-Eastern genre of electronic dance music that combines the traditional forms of Dabke music with electronic instruments. 'Sham' is the Arabic name for the region of Greater Syria, Syria-Palestine or the Levant. The term 'Shamstep' was coined by the Jordanian-Palestinian band 47Soul to describe their music. Shamstep has been described as 'more than just a byword for hipsterfied East-West fusion. In 47Soul's home region, it's becoming part of the soundtrack for Arab youth.' El Morabba3 ( ar, المربّع meaning "The Square") is an Arabic rock band from Amman, Jordan, formed in 2009. Biography The Jordan-based group was formed in 2009 as an Arab rock band. In July 2012 they released their debut album, titled ''El Morabba3'' (The Square), afterwards they gained huge popularity across the region. Sampling (music)
In sound and music, sampling is the reuse of a portion (or sample) of a sound recording in another recording. Samples may comprise elements such as rhythm, melody, speech, sounds or entire bars of music, and may be layered, equalized, sped up or slowed down, repitched, looped, or otherwise manipulated. They are usually integrated using hardware ( samplers) or software such as digital audio workstations.
