''Ein Shams '' is a 2007 film. Ibrahim El-Batout
Ibrahim El Batout ( ar, إبراهيم البطوط) is an Egyptian filmmaker, based in Cairo, Egypt. Born in Port Said on 20 September 1963. He has worked as a director, producer and cameraman capturing stories mainly about human loss, suffering, and displacement since 1987. He has directed numerous documentaries for international TV channels, such as ZDF, TBS, and ARTE. His documentary work has been honored by the Rory Peck Trust (2003), and has received the Axel Springer Award in Germany (1994 and 2000). As well as that his drama ''Ein Shams'' took home the Golden Bull, the top prize at the 54th Taormina Film Festival, 2008. Tamer El Said
Tamer El Said (Arabic: تامر السعيد, born 1972) is an Egyptian filmmaker. He wrote, produced and directed numerous films including ''Take Me'' (2004), an award-winning documentary about five friends who unwittingly became political prisoners in Morocco, and the short film ''On a Monday'' (2005) on an old married couple who rediscover their relationship. His first fiction feature ''In the Last Days of the City'' was shot in Cairo, Berlin, Baghdad and Beirut and premiered in 2016 at the Berlin International Film Festival. He is co-founder of several independent initiatives in Cairo, including Cimatheque Alternative Film Centre, Mosireen, and Zero Production. Ahmad Abdalla El Sayed Abdelkader ( ar, أحمد عبد الله السيد) (born on December 19, 1979, Cairo) is an Egyptian film director, editor and screenwriter. His debut feature film is ''Heliopolis (2009 film), Heliopolis'' (2009); his second film is ''Microphone (film), Microphone'' (2010). He studied music in the 1990s and began working as a film editor in 1999. He moved to feature-length films in 2002 and began doubling as a visual effects supervisor and credits designer. He was winner of the Best First screenplay Award of Sawiris Foundation in Cairo 2008 for ''Heliopolis''. The name means "Eye of the Sun" in Arabic language, Arabic, referring to the fact that Ain Shams is built on top of the Heliopolis (Ancient Egypt), ancient city of Heliopolis, once the spiritual centre of ancient Egyptian solar deity, sun-worship.
