SD Eibar Femenino is a Spanish women's football team from Eibar, Gipuzkoa, Basque Country, currently playing in the Primera Federación. It is the women's section of SD Eibar. Below the first team, the club also incorporates a senior B-team playing at the provincial fourth level, plus three youth teams. History Eibar women's team was founded in 1991 as Eibartarrak Futbol Taldea. Eibartarrak reached the Copa de la Reina final and won the Supercopa in 1999, and was the League's runner-up two years later. However, it wasn't included in the unified 2001–2002 Superliga Femenina, instead playing in Primera Nacional. In 2003 it adopted SD Eibar's name (as Eibar-Eibartarrak) and kit, while remaining an independent club. In 2009 it finally became a section of SD Eibar, and was promoted to the Superliga following a reform of the competition. Eibar was relegated two years later. Unbe Sports Complex
The Unbe Sports Complex ( eu, Unbe Kirol Konplexua, es, Complejo Deportivo de Unbe) is a sports complex in Eibar, Gipuzkoa, Basque Country, Spain. It is the home venue of the Primera Federación women's football team SD Eibar and used to be the training ground of the La Liga club SD Eibar until 2014. It was opened in 1997. Sheila Elorza Hernández (born 8 June 1996) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Eibar as a midfielder. She began her senior career at Athletic Bilbao but played mainly for the B team, with only two Primera División appearances shortly before leaving the club in 2015. She then spent two seasons with EDF Logroño and one with San Ignacio prior to joining Eibar in 2018; she was appointed captain, and played an important role in the squad which gained promotion to the top tier in the 2019–20 season, at which point she agreed to her extend her contract to 2022. Ane Campos Andueza (born 21 May 1999) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a forward for Eibar. Club career Campos started her career at Zumaiako, where she played in the local Gipuzkoa provincial league. She then transferred to Oiartzun, appearing for their reserves in the regional third tier and their senior team in the second tier. In 2018 she signed for Primera División club Real Sociedad, but was assigned to their newly formed B-team in the Gipuzkoa league, helping them to win promotion with a near-perfect record. Noko Alice Matlou (born 30 September 1985) is a South African professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Spanish Primera Federación side SD Eibar. Arene Altonaga Etxebarria (born 25 February 1993) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Eibar as a midfielder. She began her senior career at Athletic Bilbao and made her Primera División debut in 2009, a week after her 16th birthday; however her progress was stalled by injury and appearances at that level were infrequent – she played mainly for the B team before leaving the club in 2015.
