Herman Bastiaan "Bas" Eenhoorn (born 14 September 1946) is a Dutch politician and management consultant. A member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), he was party chair from 1999 until 2003. Eenhoorn served as Mayor of Schiermonnikoog (1976–1983), Voorburg (1983–1996), as well as Acting Mayor of Lansingerland (2007), Kaag en Braassem (2009–2010), Alphen aan den Rijn (2010–2012), Vlaardingen (2014) and Amstelveen (2017–2019). He became well known after giving press conferences in his function as acting mayor after the Alphen aan den Rijn shopping mall shooting on 9 April 2011.News Report

Paul Eenhoorn (16 November 1948 – 1 August 2022) was an Australian actor working in Seattle, Washington, perhaps best known for his work in the 2013 film '' This Is Martin Bonner''. Since moving to Seattle, he had quickly grown to be a well-respected actor in the film community there. His work has been seen at many film festivals around the world. Eenhoorn played the villain, Mr. Daniels, in the family comedy '' Max Rules'', which was voted by audiences as the top U.S. film at the 2004 SIFF. Also, the short film ''Elliot's Wake'' was an official selection of the 2007 SIFF. Paul received critical acclaim for leading the cast in the medieval epic '' Warrior's End'', which was given the Mt. Rainier award at the 2009 STIFF. Eenhoorn was also seen at the 2009 STIFF in the short thriller ''Chemistry'', which was awarded for Best On Screen Chemistry. Robert Eenhoorn
Robert Franciscus Eenhoorn (born February 9, 1968) is a retired Dutch professional baseball player and manager. He played four seasons of Major League Baseball as a utility infielder for the New York Yankees and California/Anaheim Angels. On September 27, 1997, Eenhoorn became the first Dutch-born player to hit a home run in the Major Leagues since Jack Lelivelt in 1912. The feat was later repeated by Greg Halman and Didi Gregorius. (All other Dutch MLB players to have hit home runs were born elsewhere, mainly in the country's Caribbean territories, most notably the Curaçao natives Andruw Jones and Hensley Meulens.) Eenhoorn played for the Triple-A Norfolk Tides of the New York Mets organization in 1998. From 2009 to 2014 Eenhoorn served as the technical director for the Netherlands national baseball team.
