Edwin Orin Wood
Edwin Orin Wood (October 29, 1861 – April 23, 1918) was the chairman of the Democratic National Committee of Michigan in 1904. Biography He was born at Goodrich, Michigan on October 29, 1861, to Paulina M. and Thomas Parmalee Wood both of whom came from western New York. He was member of the Democratic National Committee from Michigan from 1908 to 1916. He was also a delegate to 1912 Democratic National Convention and 1916 Democratic National Convention. He died on April 23, 1918, in Pasadena, California. He was buried in Flint, Michigan in Glenwood Cemetery (Flint, Michigan), Glenwood Cemetery. The Democratic National Convention (DNC) is a series of presidential nominating conventions held every four years since 1832 by the United States Democratic Party. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE; also often known as the Elks Lodge or simply The Elks) is an American fraternal order founded in 1868, originally as a social club in New York City. History The Elks began in 1868 as a social club for minstrel show performers, called the "Jolly Corks".
