Edwin Gyimah
Edwin Gyimah (born 9 March 1991) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a defender and midfielder for the Ghana national football team and Sekhukhune United. Career Club Gyimah was born in Sekondi-Takoradi. Before joining SuperSport United in 2011, Gyimah played for All Stars and Sekondi Hasaacas in his home country. Gyimah left SuperSport in 2015 after 1 goal in 53 games, a spell that also included a loan to Mpumalanga Black Aces. After leaving SuperSport, he joined Orlando Pirates. Two years and 30 appearances followed before Gyimah left the club by mutual consent on 16 February 2017. He went on to play one season with Helsingborg in Superettan, the Swedish second tier, before returning to South Africa and Bidvest Wits in early 2018. Sekondi-Takoradi is a city in Ghana comprising the twin cities of Sekondi and Takoradi. It is the capital of Sekondi – Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly and the Western Region of Ghana. The Nedbank Cup is the current name of South Africa's Premier Soccer League, premier club association football, soccer knockout tournament. While many formats have been used over the years, the tournament has always been based on the idea of giving lower league and amateur teams a chance to compete with clubs from the top league for the cup. 2011–12 Nedbank Cup
The Nedbank Cup is a South African club football (soccer) tournament. The knockout tournament, based on the English FA Cup format, was one of a weak opponent facing a stronger one. The competition was sponsored by ABSA until 2007, after which Nedbank took over sponsorship. The winner of the 2011–12 Nedbank Cup winners, SuperSport United, qualified for the 2013 CAF Confederation Cup. Format The 16 Premier Soccer League clubs, 8 National First Division teams, as well as 8 teams from the amateur ranks compete for the prize money of R6 million. The winner also qualifies for the CAF Confederation Cup. The preliminary round features all 16 National First Division teams and will be reduced to eight when the teams play on 12 December 2012.
