Edward Wojewódzki (born 17 November 1937) is a former football coach and manager. Wojewódzki only had one management job in football which was with Lechia Gdańsk Lechia Gdańsk () is a Polish football club based in Gdańsk. The club was founded in 1945 by people expelled from Lwów, who were supporters of Poland's oldest football team Lechia Lwów, founded in 1903. The club's name comes from Lechia, a ... in 1982. After a 4–0 defeat in the final months of the season Wojewódzki took over from Michał Globisz with the aim of keeping Lechia in the division. This did not happen, and Lechia were relegated to the third tier for the first time in ten years. Lechia Gdańsk () is a Polish football club based in Gdańsk. The club was founded in 1945 by people expelled from Lwów, who were supporters of Poland's oldest football team Lechia Lwów, founded in 1903. The club's name comes from Lechia, a poetic name for Poland, and is a continuation of the name used by the club based in Lwów. In their early years, Lechia enjoyed some success, most notably finishing third in the Polish top division, before spending decades in the second and third tiers. In the early 1980s, Lechia won the Polish Cup, the Polish SuperCup, and played in a European competition for the first time. After having two mergers with other teams in the 1990s the club had to restart from the sixth tier in 2001. Michał Globisz
Michał Globisz (born 11 December 1946 in Poznań) is a Polish football player and coach, from 1982 until 2010 he had been part of the PZPN serving as a youth coach, winning the silver medal at the U-16 European Championship in 1999 and winning a gold medal in the U-18 European Championship in 2001. Education From 1964–1969 Globisz studied at the University of Gdańsk in Sopot. In 1978, he finished with a football license from the Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego Józefa Piłsudskiego in Warsaw. He has a class 1 degree. Player career He lived in Poznań until he was 10 years old. After moving to Wrocław, he played for his first football club Śląsk Wrocław. He then moved again in 1961 to Gdańsk where he played for the Lechia Gdańsk and Arka Gdynia youth teams. In college, he played for AZS WSE Sopot.
