Eddie Edward
Giovanni Edson "Eddie" Edward (born September 20, 1988) is a former Canadian soccer player. Career Youth and college Edward's amateur and collegiate soccer career allowed him to travel across North America. After graduating from the Ottawa Fury's Youth program, Edward began his collegiate duties at the NAIA's Graceland University. In his four years at Graceland, he helped the Jackets to an overall 58–16–8 record while scoring 15 goals and adding 13 assists. In 2006, Edward was part of Graceland's NAIA National Championship-winning squad, while in 2007, he helped the team become Region V and Conference Champions. Edward has also twice been named to the NAIA's Heart of America Athletic All-Conference team, in 2007 and 2008. The Ottawa native is no stranger to the PDL, having traversed the amateur soccer ranks over the past three years with Ottawa Fury (2007, 2009) as well as with the Des Moines Menace in 2008 and Kansas City Brass in 2009. The 2013 North American Soccer League season was the 46th season of Division II soccer in the United States and the third season of the revived North American Soccer League. It was contested by eight teams including one from Canada. Expansion club New York Cosmos was added to the NASL during the season. A split season format was used for the first time. The 2011 FC Dallas season was the sixteenth season of the team's existence. They tied the franchise record for most points in the regular season & made the playoffs for the second consecutive year. The season was marked by their debut in the CONCACAF Champions League, where they finished third in their group, behind UNAM Pumas and Toronto FC. 2010 FC Dallas Season
The 2010 FC Dallas season was the fifteenth season of the team's existence. Dallas' season was highlighted by qualifying for the first MLS Cup Championship Game in franchise history, where they ultimately came up short, losing to the Colorado Rapids in overtime, from an own goal by George John who inadvertently deflected a ball into his own net. In spite of the MLS Cup shortcomings, Dallas earned a preliminary spot in the 2011–12 edition of the CONCACAF Champions League, for next year. During the regular season, the club set a team record for longest home unbeaten streak, with six matches. Additionally, during this unbeaten streak from May to October, Dallas set an MLS record for longest road unbeaten streak (11 matches) and overall unbeaten streak (15) before eventually losing to Real Salt Lake towards the end of the season. Jamar Dixon (born June 5, 1989) is a retired Canadian professional soccer player. He currently serves as Manager of Football and Player Development for Canadian Premier League club Pacific FC. Club career Sweden Dixon began his professional career in Sweden, joining BW 90 IF in Sweden's fourth tier. He scored a goal in his first match with the club. Finland Dixon left Sweden and joined Finnish side TP-47 in early 2014. He would later make the jump to fellow Finnish team JIPPO on September 1, 2014. Dixon signed with top flight outfit FF Jaro after a successful trial on January 26, 2015. He made his debut on February 7 in the Finnish Cup.
