Eddie Bell (wide Receiver)
Eddie Bell (born September 13, 1946) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). High school Bell graduated from George Washington Carver High School in Waco, Texas in 1965. He played in the Texas high school all-star game in Houston in 1965 as a running back. On July 16, 2016, he was inducted the Prairie View Interscholastic League Coaches Association (PVILCA) Hall of Fame. College Bell attended Idaho State University, where he played for the Bengals from 1967 to 1969. In 1969, he was first-team all-American and holds the national record for pass receiving, for 96 receptions for 1,522 yards and 21 touchdowns in a single season. In 1969, he was selected to the All-American bowl in Tampa Florida coached by Bo Schembechler, Duffy Daugherty and Buddy Ryan. Big Sky Conference
The Big Sky Conference (BSC) is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with the NCAA's Division I with football competing in the Football Championship Subdivision. Member institutions are located in the western United States in the eight states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. Four affiliate members each participate in one sport: two from California are football–only participants and two from the Northeast participate only in men's golf. Art Powell (wide Receiver)
Arthur Louis Powell (February 25, 1937 – April 6, 2015) was an American football wide receiver. Early career Powell attended and played high school football at San Diego High School and played college football at San Jose State University. His brother, Charlie Powell was also a professional football player. Professional career Powell played for the Montreal Alouettes and Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian football league in 1957 and 1958. Powell played in the American Football League (AFL) for the New York Titans, Oakland Raiders, and the Buffalo Bills. He also played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings. Possessing the size, speed and ability to make remarkable plays all over the field, Powell was one of the American Football League's first stars. Donald Rogers Maynard (January 25, 1935 – January 10, 2022) was an American professional football wide receiver known for playing for the New York Jets in the National Football League (NFL). He also played with the New York Giants and St. Louis Cardinals; and the Shreveport Steamer of the World Football League (WFL). Maynard was a four-time AFL All-Star and played for the Super Bowl III champions. The Jets retired Maynard's No. 13 in his honor. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and included on the AFL All-Time Team. Joseph William Namath (; ; born May 31, 1943) is a former American football quarterback who played in the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons, primarily with the New York Jets. He played college football at Alabama, where he won the national championship as a senior, and was selected by the Jets first overall in the 1965 AFL Draft. The Baltimore Colts were a professional American football team that played in Baltimore from its founding in 1953 to 1984. The team now plays in Indianapolis, as the Indianapolis Colts. George Sauer
George Henry Sauer Sr. (December 11, 1910 – February 5, 1994) was an American football player, coach, college sports administrator, and professional football executive. Career Sauer attended the University of Nebraska where he was an All-American halfback under Dana X. Bible from 1931-1933. After college, he played for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL) from 1935 to 1937, helping them win the 1936 NFL championship as their starting left halfback. Sauer left professional football in 1937 and coached at the University of New Hampshire from 1937 to 1941, compiling a record of 22-18-1. He left his coaching position and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1942 and was commissioned as an officer after completing the requisite training.
