Eco Reserva Mbatoví
The Mbatovi Ecoreserve is a protected area and nature reserve located in the Paraguarí Department, Paraguay, in the middle of the Cordillera de los Altos, between Paraguarí and Piribebuy, in the Central Litoral. The area was preserved by its owners to protect the biological diversity of this natural area. It was the first Environmental Service business to be registered in the General Directorate of Public Registries of Paraguay. History In 1999, Jacinto Santa María and Marta González Ayala, both nature lovers, started looking for a natural space for a weekend retreat. They found a place in the middle of the Cordillera de los Altos, near Paraguay, with a beautiful view of the hills and the valley of Pirayu. They bought the property and decided to keep it conserved as a nature reserve, and to share it with the public. In 2003, Mbatovi was registered as a protected area in the General Directorate of Public Registries as the first Environmental Service of Paraguay. The ' ...

Reserva Mbatovi
Reserve wine is wine of a higher quality than usual, a wine that has been aged before sale, or both. Traditionally, winemakers would reserve some of their best wine rather than sell it immediately, coining the term. In some countries the use of the term "reserve", "''reserva''" or "''riserva''" is regulated, but in many places it is not. According to Italian wine laws, ''riserva'' indicates additional aging. Sometimes, reserve wine originates from the best vineyards, or the best barrels. Reserve wines may be made in a style suited to longer aging (wine), aging periods. In regions where the use is not regulated, the presence of the term "reserve" on a wine label may be a marketing strategy, without specific criteria. In Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay, every bottle produced is "Vintner's Reserve", and to indicate a traditional reserve wine, Kendall-Jackson uses the term "Grand Reserve". Like the term "old vines", "reserve" traditionally indicates a wine that is special, or at least diff ...

Paraguay
Paraguay (; ), officially the Republic of Paraguay ( es, República del Paraguay, links=no; gn, Tavakuairetã Paraguái, links=si), is a landlocked country in South America. It is bordered by Argentina to the south and southwest, Brazil to the east and northeast, and Bolivia to the northwest. It has a population of seven million, nearly three million of whom live in the capital and largest city of Asunción, and its surrounding metro. Although one of only two landlocked countries in South America (Bolivia is the other), Paraguay has ports on the Paraguay and Paraná rivers that give exit to the Atlantic Ocean, through the Paraná-Paraguay Waterway. Spanish conquistadores arrived in 1524, and in 1537, they established the city of Asunción, the first capital of the Governorate of the Río de la Plata. During the 17th century, Paraguay was the center of Jesuit missions, where the native Guaraní people were converted to Christianity and introduced to European culture. ...

Piribebuy
Piribebuy (in Guaraní, ''Pirĩvevúi'') is a town and district in the Cordillera Department of Paraguay. It is of spontaneous origin, though some attribute its founding to Martin Ledesma de Valderrama in 1636. Since its founding documents were burned during the Paraguayan War, March 8, 1636, was later appointed as its Day of Establishment. Piribebuy is known for its Church "Dulce Nombre de Jesus", also known as "Ñandejará Guasu," and also has a small history museum dedicated to memorabilia from the War of Triple Alliance, explaining Piribebuy's large role in the war, as well as memorabilia from the Chaco War and Colonial Times. History Formally known as ''Capilla Guasú'', Piribebuy does not have a known foundation date, due to its possible spontaneous origin, and because the official documentation was destroyed in grand battle of August 12, 1869. In early times used as a mail-post and spot to rest the horses, The Franciscan Gaspar de Medina constructed, in 1744, a church d ...

Emotional Intelligence
Emotional intelligence (EI) is most often defined as the ability to perceive, use, understand, manage, and handle emotions. People with high emotional intelligence can recognize their own emotions and those of others, use emotional information to guide thinking and behavior, discern between different feelings and label them appropriately, and adjust emotions to adapt to environments. Although the term first appeared in 1964, it gained popularity in the 1995 best-selling book ''Emotional Intelligence'', written by science journalist Daniel Goleman. Goleman defined EI as the array of skills and characteristics that drive leadership performance. Emotional intelligence refers to the ability to perceive, control, and evaluate emotions. Some researchers suggest that emotional intelligence can be learned and strengthened, while others claim it is an inborn characteristic. Various models have been developed to measure EI. The ''trait model'', developed by Konstantinos V. Petrides in 2 ...

Protected Areas Of Paraguay
Protection is any measure taken to guard a thing against damage caused by outside forces. Protection can be provided to physical objects, including organisms, to systems, and to intangible things like civil and political rights. Although the mechanisms for providing protection vary widely, the basic meaning of the term remains the same. This is illustrated by an explanation found in a manual on electrical wiring: Some kind of protection is a characteristic of all life, as living things have evolved at least some protective mechanisms to counter damaging environmental phenomena, such as ultraviolet light. Biological membranes such as bark on trees and skin on animals offer protection from various threats, with skin playing a key role in protecting organisms against pathogens and excessive water loss. Additional structures like scales and hair offer further protection from the elements and from predators, with some animals having features such as spines or camouflage servin ...
