Echo Award
Echo Music Prize (stylised as ECHO, ) was an accolade by the , an association of recording companies of Germany to recognize outstanding achievement in the music industry. The first ECHO Awards ceremony was held in 1992, and was set up to honor musical accomplishments by performers for the year 1991, succeeding the Deutscher Schallplattenpreis, which was awarded from 1963 to 2018. Each year's winner was determined by the previous year's sales. In April 2018, following controversy regarding that year's ceremony, the Bundesverband Musikindustrie announced the end of the award. History First held with 370 people in the Flora und Botanischer Garten Köln, Flora, Cologne in 1992, the award ceremony in Frankfurt was televised and the classical awards were moved to a separate event, Echo Klassik, in Cologne in 1994. ''Jung Brutal Gutaussehend 3'' ("Young, violent, handsome 3"; also stylized as ''Jung, brutal, gutaussehend 3'' and abbreviated as ''JBG 3'') is the third collaborative studio album by German rappers Kollegah and Farid Bang. It was released on 1 December 2017 through Alpha Music Empire, Banger Musik, and BMG. Before the release of the album, Kollegah and Bang collaborated on ''Jung, brutal, gutaussehend'' in 2009 and ''Jung, brutal, gutaussehend 2'' in 2013. Berlin Wintergarten Theatre
The Berlin Wintergarten theatre was a large variety theatre in Berlin-Mitte. It opened in 1887 and was destroyed by bombs during the Second World War. The Skladanowsky brothers showcased the first short film presentation at the theatre in 1895, making it the first Bioscop movie theater in history. Beyond a movie theatre, it was a multi-use variety theatre. As art historian Erwin Panofsky recalls, in about 1905 "there was only one obscure and faintly disreputable '' kino'' in the whole city of Berlin, bearing, for some unfathomable reason, the English name of 'The Meeting Room'." Kristiane Verena Backer (born 13 December 1965) is a German art dealer with a previous career as a television presenter, journalist and author residing in London. Biography At the age of 15, Backer went to the United States as an Student exchange program, exchange student for a year. Klaus Otto Wilhelm Voormann (born 29 April 1938) is a German graphic artist, artist, musician, and record producer. Voormann was the bassist for Manfred Mann from 1966 to 1969, and performed as a session musician on a host of recordings, including "You're So Vain" by Carly Simon, Lou Reed's ''Transformer (Lou Reed album), Transformer'' album, and on many recordings of the former members of the Beatles. Marius Hubertus Hans Müller-Westernhagen (born 6 December 1948) is a German musician and actor. He has been a feature in German rock music since the mid-1970s.
