Ebru Topçu (born August 27, 1996) is a Turkish women's football striker currently playing in the Turkish Women's First Football League for Galatasaray in Istanbul with jersey number 16. She was admitted to the Turkey women's national football team in 2013 after playing for the national U-15, U-17 and U-19 teams. Early life Ebru Topçu was born on August 27, 1996, in Karadeniz Ereğli town of Zonguldak Province. Her father was a coal miner working in the Armutçuk coal mine. She has a one-year older brother, who is a professional footballer. Football was a main theme at her home. During her childhood, she played football along with her neighbor Berna Yeniçeri and her brother's friends. Berna Yeniçeri
Berna Yeniçeri (born January 26, 1996) is a Turkish women's football defender, who plays in the Super League for Galatasaray. She has been a member of the Turkish national team since 2011. Club career Yeniçeri made her professional debut on November 9, 2006, for her hometown club, Kdz. Ereğlispor. She helped them gain promotion to the Women's First League at the end of 2010–11 season. After playing six seasons for Kdz. Ereğlispor, she transferred to the Izmir-based league-champions Konak Belediyespor on July 25, 2014. With her new team, she took part at the 2014–15 UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying round matches. She played in three matches of the 2015–16 UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying round, and scored one goal. 2018–19 Turkish Women's First Football League
The 2018–19 season of the Turkish Women's First Football League is the 23rd season of Turkey's premier women's football league. The league season started with the first week matches on 21 October 2018. The regular season concluded with the 18th week matches on 28 April. 2019. Ten teams competed with two promoted teams, ALG Spor of Gaziantep and Hakkarigücü Spor from Hakkari, which replace the relegated teams 1207 Antalyaspor and İlkadım Belediyesi Yabancılar Pazarı Spor from Samsun.
