Ebrahim Abadi
Ebrahim Abadi ( fa, ابراهیم آبادی; also Romanized as Ebrāhim Ābādi; 15 August 1934 – 31 October 2019) was an Iranian stage and film actor. Abadi played in famous movies including ''Mokhtarnameh'', ''On Tiptoes'', ''Dar Chashm-e Baad'' and ''Grand Cinema''. Biography Ebrahimabadi was first seen in the Bagh-e-Tabriz alley on August 15, 1934. He went to school in Tabriz until his fifth grade and finished high school in Tehran. During high school, he was interested in the art of performing until he finally tried in the theatre classes of fine arts of the country, which was composed by foreign educators in schools, and after passing a year under the supervision of Davidson and Kotkim B, he went to the art school and under the supervision of professors such as Ali Asghar Garmori and Hoshang Saring To continue his studies in Prague, Czechoslovakia, he graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts five years later. Homa Rousta
Homa Rousta ( fa, هما روستا ; 26 September 1946 – 26 September 2015) was an Iranian film and stage actress. She was the widow of stage director Hamid Samandarian. She graduated with a degree in theatre from the School of Dramatic Arts in Bucharest. She started her career in 1971. Her most famous performance was in '' From Karkheh to Rhine'' (1992), for which she was nominated for the best actress Simorgh at the Fajr Film Festival. She died of cancer on 26 September 2015 in a hospital in Los Angeles, California, United States. Her body was transferred to Iran and was buried at Behesht Zahra Behesht-e Zahra ( fa, بهشت زهرا, lit. Fajr Film Festival
Iran's annual Fajr International Film Festival ( fa, جشنواره بینالمللی فیلم فجر), or Fajr Film Festival (little: FIFF; fa, جشنواره فیلم فجر), has been held every February and April in Tehran since 1982. The festival is supervised by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. It takes place on the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. The awards are the Iranian equivalent to the American Academy Awards. The festival has been promoted locally and internationally through television, radio and webinars; speakers have come from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
