Eastern Buckeye Conference
The Eastern Buckeye Conference is an OHSAA athletic league that began competition in the 2018–19 school year. The following are members: Members League history The idea for the Eastern Buckeye Conference began in December 2015 when seven of the eight Northeastern Buckeye Conference members (Alliance, Canton South, Carrollton, Marlington, Minverva, Salem, and West Branch) came together to discuss creating a new league that didn't include Louisville. Three other schools were also included in the discussions: South Range, Crestview, and Beaver Local. On February 4, 2016, the Northeastern Buckeye Conference voted to disband, and all conference members except for Louisville agreed to form a new league. On June 1, 2016, WKBN-TV 27 Youngstown reported that Alliance, Canton South, Carrollton, Marlington, Minerva, Salem and West Branch would form the Eastern Buckeye Conference for the 2018-2019 school year. Ohio High School Athletic Association
The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) is the governing body of athletic programs for junior and senior high schools in the state of Ohio. The OHSAA governs eligibility of student athletes, resolves disputes, organizes levels of competition by divisional separation of schools according to attendance population, and conducts state championship competitions in all the OHSAA-sanctioned sports. Membership There are approximately 820 member high schools and 850 more schools in the 7th-8th grade division of the OHSAA. Most public and private high schools in Ohio belong to the OHSAA. Northeastern Buckeye Conference
The Northeastern Buckeye Conference (NBC), was an OHSAA high school athletic conference that comprised eight high schools in Northeast Ohio. Final members Former members League history *The NBC was established in September 1988 and began league play in the fall of 1989. The six founding members were Carrollton, Dover, Marlington, Minerva, Northwest, and West Branch. The Principals Athletic Conference (PAC-7) is an Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) athletic league, formed in 1989, made up of seven schools from Stark, Summit, and Wayne counties with full membership, and one football-only member in Ashland County. The PAC-7 is home to some of the biggest rivalries in Northeast Ohio high school sports: the Triway Titans vs. the Orrville Red Riders, the Fairless Falcons vs. Tuslaw Mustangs in ''"The Blue Cup"'', and the Manchester Panthers vs. the Northwest Indians. Northeast 8 Athletic Conference
The Northeast 8 Athletic Conference (NE8) is an OHSAA athletic league that began competition for the 2018-19 school year. It is primarily made up of members that were part of the All-American Conference along with previously independent South Range. Members History The idea for the NE8 was created in May 2017 when members of the All-American Conference's Blue and White divisions decided to break away and form their own league. South Range had previously been set to join the newly-created Eastern Buckeye Conference in 2018, but then received an invitation to join the AAC Blue tier with Crestview High School at the same time they were invited to join the NE8. Louisville High School (Ohio)
Louisville High School is a public high school located in Louisville, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Louisville City School District. It serves all of the city of Louisville and the majority of the surrounding Nimishillen Township. History The first schoolhouse within Louisville was a one-room log cabin located on the corner of Nickelplate and Main Streets. It was built in the 1840s and was replaced by a two-room brick edifice in the 1850s. This new school was located on the northeast corner of Mill and Broad Streets. In 1872, Louisville's seat of learning was moved again to another two-room brick building, located upon South Chapel Street.
