Eaismo
Eaismo () was a 20th-century avant-garde movement born in Italy in 1948, founded by the painter, Voltolino Fontani, who was the main representative of it, with the poet Marcello Landi, the literary critic Guido Favati and the painters Angelo Sirio Pellegrini and Aldo Neri. It was also the Italian writer Carlo Cassola, to talk about Eaismo by writing some articles for the magazine "Il Mondo". The Manifesto of Eaismo, signed also by the painters Angelo Sirio Pellegrini and Aldo Neri, highlighted the pessimism and the optimism of the Atomic age, but was skeptical about the supposed revolutionary power of atomic energy. Marcello Landi
Marcello Landi (1916–1993) was an Italian painter and poet. Biography Landi was born into the artistic Landi family in Cecina in 1916. In 1948 he co-signed the ''Manifesto of Eaismo'', an analysis of man's new role in the "atomic age", alongside the poet Guido Favati and the painters Voltolino Fontani, Angelo Sirio Pellegrini and Aldo Neri. He participated in the group's exhibitions in 1949, at the Casa di Dante in Florence; in 1953 at the House of Culture of Livorno, and finally in 1959 at the gallery Pascucci in Grosseto. Landi and Favati followed the central tenets of the movement with great conviction. The 1950s were years of intense literary activity, culminating in his winning the poetry prize from the City of Florence (1955), and another poetry prize from the Citadel in 1956. Salvador Dalí
Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, Marquess of Dalí of Púbol (; ; ; 11 May 190423 January 1989) was a Spanish Surrealism, surrealist artist renowned for his technical skill, precise draftsmanship, and the striking and bizarre images in his work. Born in Figueres, Catalonia, Spain, Dalí received his formal education in fine arts in Madrid. Enrico Baj
Enrico Baj (October 31, 1924 – June 15, 2003)June 15 according to the Guardian, June 17 according to the-artists.org was an Italian artist and writer on art. Many of his works show an obsession with nuclear war. He created prints, sculptures but especially collage. He was close to the surrealist and dada movements, and was later associated with CoBrA. As an author he has been described as a leading promoter of the avant-garde. He worked with Umberto Eco among other collaborators. He had a long interest in the pseudo-philosophy 'pataphysics. Biography He was born in Milan into a wealthy family, but left Italy in 1944 having upset the authorities and to avoid conscription. He studied at the Milan University law faculty and the Brera Academy of Art. In 1951 he founded the arte nucleare movement with Sergio Dangelo, which unlike abstract art was overtly political.
